Saracen’s Head

A listed building dating back to the 13th Century, when the Knights Templar resided at Temple Balsall and named after their foe, the Saracen. From around 1162, until the suppression of their order in 1312, the HYPERLINK "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knights_Templar"Knights Templar owned a preceptory at HYPERLINK "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_Balsall"Temple Balsall. The main building is Elizabethan, and it was a coaching inn, although substantially altered in modern times. 

An excellent place for refreshment or parking.
